Housing for the Dominican Friars Catholic order of priests. Design challenge include the separation of public and private spaces and the re-interpretation of the traditional cloistered approach plus the creation of an agreeable hierarchy between the newly ordained priests and the seniors. The project lies on a flat, black-cotton drainage area and the disposal of sewage was accomplished using a constructed wetlands system. It is currently operational and functioning well.
